What the working ranges mean
The bands use the cutoff runners in the current season-best, latest-race, submitted-lineup and team-change cases, with fifteen seconds of judgment allowance at either end, rounded outward to five seconds. Division II boys assumes Dover, Carrollton and New Philadelphia advance; its larger team upsets remain separate choices. Division II girls has a numerical line only when five complete teams compete.
These are tighter working forecasts, not statistically calibrated 80% intervals. No probabilities have been assigned to the alternate outcomes. Final entries and race-day performances can put the actual cutoff outside a band.
Regional places are at stake October 24, with league champions and close team contenders arriving from across the area.
Campbell and Bendo head into Division III, Kuklica leads John Glenn in Division II, and Shenandoah’s boys take an OVAC title into Division IV. Advancing teams and additional individuals move on to Pickerington North on October 31.
