Correction, September 13: the last additional Division III boys qualifier in 2025 ran 21:13 after eleven teams and twenty-two additional individuals advanced. The earlier reference to approximately 22:04 was incorrect. Division II girls in 2026 lists four teams and two individual-entry schools, correcting the five-team and one-individual description below. The original September 7 estimates remain unchanged.

The September 7 outlook combined the 2026 assignments and early-season results with the 2025 Cambridge races. Last year's individual boundaries were 19:23 in Division II boys and 19:13 and 22:14 in Division IV boys and girls. The Division III boys reference was later corrected to 21:13. These early estimates remain here as a record of the opening outlook.
